CSIM workshop with Europace Foundation

Toni Subirats,

WORKSHOP TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES TO FACILITATE THE BUILDING'S ENERGY RENOVATION PROCESS

On March 22, CSIM organized a participatory Workshop with the Europace Foundation to detect the main barriers that exist in the demand for energy rehabilitation of buildings and provide Property Managers with tools that allow them to offer efficient solutions by putting people at the center.

During the session, which has had the participation of Jordi Ayats, director of the Europace Foundation, and some CSIM partner companies, we have been able to verify that the solutions to energize rehabilitation will involve all the participants in the process working together and in coordination with the administration public about the challenges involved in renovating the building stock in our cities.

In the first place, the session consisted of detecting the main barriers encountered by the Property Administrators and the companies participating in the process, to then propose concrete and effective solutions that manage to boost energy rehabilitation in the communities of owners and with a view to put into the buildings of the future.

  • "Single window" where the owners can go.
  • Efficient and understandable communication focused on raising awareness among owners and society in general.
  • Specific training for Property Administrators.
  • Qualification system for the professionals involved in the rehabilitation process.
  • Process digitization platform.

Some advantages of this work methodology are:

  • Facilitate the work of the agents involved.
  • Qualified professionals.
  • Remuneration and enhancement of the services provided.
  • Impact on the local economy.
  • Respond effectively to customer needs and expectations.
  • 360° advice throughout the process.
  • Evaluation of the result for the continuous improvement of the process.

As a platform that integrates the main actors involved in the rehabilitation process, from the CSIM we continue working to detect needs and innovative solutions that respond to the current opportunity for energy rehabilitation, but with an eye on the buildings of the future.
